Geography

Through our Geography curriculum and Christian Vision at St Michael’s we aim to provide every pupil with an understanding and love of their world.  We intend to ensure our children make excellent progress as they make their journey from Nursery to Year 6.  We want our pupils to learn about the human and physical world in which they, and others, live, whether this be locally or on the other side of the world.  We want to foster a love for Geography, the world they know now, and the wider world they will come to know, by giving our children the tools to be geographers at St Michael’s and in the years beyond.  We want to instil and encourage a love of the subject and want our children to remain curious and fascinated about the world for life.  We want our children to ‘get under the skin’ of people and places no matter their starting point or skill set.
