School Uniform
St. Michael’s has a school uniform which is compulsory for all pupils from Reception to Year 6 to wear.
It consists of:-
Boys
- Grey Trousers/Shorts

- White polo shirt
- Black shoes
Girls

If parents wish, in warmer weather a white short sleeved shirt may be worn by boys and a red and white checked dress by girls. We ask that parents always send children to school in sensible footwear for obvious reasons of safety.
School uniform can be purchased from many of the larger supermarkets and from approved suppliers.
Maroon sweatshirts and cardigans that contain the school logo and can be purchased from the following suppliers.
Book bags can be also purchased from the school office for £5.00 each.
It is not compulsory for children to have uniform with the school logo.
P.E. Kit
It is essential that all children have suitable clothing for Physical Education. The agreed PE kit for each year group is black or maroon shorts or jogging bottoms, a plain white T-shirt and a black or marroon zip up hoodie.
All children should come to school wearing their kit on their allocated PE days.
Swimming
Swimming costume (or lycra leggings and leotard) or trunks.
Jewellery
Teachers cannot be held responsible for loss of personal property brought to school by children, especially items of jewellery. Earrings, including sleepers, bracelets and necklaces present a particular problem, both with regard to safety and security. Parents are therefore respectfully requested to avoid sending children to school in such items. Earring must not be worn or removed for every PE session.
